The terrifying new trailer for It dropped today. An adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel of the same name, It follows a group of young children as they face off against the supernatural entity known as Pennywise the Clown. IT” stars Bill Skarsgård (“Allegiant,” TV’s “Hemlock Grove”) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (“Midnight Special”), Jeremy Ray Taylor (“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”), Sophia Lillis (“37”), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s “Stranger Things”), Wyatt Oleff (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming “Cops and Robbers”), Jack Dylan Grazer (“Tales of Halloween”) and Nicholas Hamilton (“Captain Fantastic”). Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”) is the man directing the film taking the reins from Cary Fukunaga who left the film due to creative differences but retains a screenwriting credit on the project. Initial reaction from the trailer suggests that this will be another worthy big screen adaptation for Stephen King who has seen some of his other novels turned into cinema classics including Carrie (1976), The Shawshank Redemption (1994) and The Shining (1980) though this will not be the first time It has been adapted having previously been a TV mini series starring Tim Curry as Pennywise.See also Movie NewsNewsTrailers[Trailer] Steve Carrell, Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne Reflect On The Scars Of War In Last Flag Flying It arrives in theatres on September 8th, 2017.
